Glastonbury 2009
Well, that was a hell of a Glastonbury. On Thursday, torrential rain looked like it was going to make the festival a muddy and miserable one. However, the weather brightened up on Friday, and made for a glorious if slightly overcast three days. Dry, and not too hot. Perfect. I took lots of photos, as always. I skipped Bruce Springsteen, alas - but to see a rather intimate gig in the John Peel tent with Jarvis Cocker (right), which was awesome. DSC_2888

Glad you had a fun weekend. I listened to the first half of the Boss's set and, having failed to recognise a single song, sneaked off to the Avalon fields to see the Wonderstuff (who were marvellous).

I'd have liked to have seen JC too - was a really bad year for clashes for me. Great stretches where nothing especially grabbed me, then four bands on all at once.
